Moonchild Chapter 1 Pt. 2     When I walked through the front door to my home, I immediately wished that I hadn’t. Smoke filled the upper half of the living room and continued to exhaust from the kitchen where my mother, Tracey Collins, seemed to be setting the house on fire by way of burning appetizers and second courses. Covering my nose with the back of my hand, I walked through the kitchen and briefly spotted the bottom half of my mother as she stuck her head into the smoke emanating from the contraption she called an oven.
